Scripture in Color: SoulCare Through Word and Art
Exploring Lasting Hope and Beauty Through Creative Reflection
At five years old I had my first inkling this world was not as it should be, or could be. But a longing within compelled me to dream that such a world was true.
C.S. Lewis describes the longing:
If I find in myself a desire which nothing in this world can satisfy, the most logical explanation is that I was made for another world.
Scripture in Color: SoulCare Through Word and Art explores the story of this world illustrated by nature, written in scripture and unfolding in our own stories. Its hope, beauty and goodness is best discovered in our ordinary lives. It shines brightest when we grieve things are not as they should be. Journaling provides in grief a place to be honest and to meditate on this story and the world for which we are made.
