From the moment I first discovered the magic of paint, line, and texture at the age of three, art has been an integral part of my life. Now, as a grandmother and spiritual companion, I continue to find wonder in the creative painting process using natural or manmade found objects as tools, subject, or substrate.
My work is inspired by the Impressionist Camille Pissarro: "Blessed are those who see beauty in humble places."
Every finished work is a testament of this beauty that radiates in life’s small, broken, and overlooked places.
Grief is one of those places. As an artist and spiritual companion, I offer companionship and support for women in anticipatory grief through workshops and one-on-one sessions focused on art journaling. Together, we uncover the beauty, hope, and goodness.
